Student Placements at World Media Academy

The students are equipped with skills in the entire range of digital marketing spectrum, like Internet Marketing, Search Engine Marketing, Social Media Marketing, E-mail Marketing, Mobile Marketing, E-Commerce, and Web & Social Media Analytics, and thus are ready to be absorbed by the fast growing digital sector with a huge demand for talent.
Greycells Education Limited, which runs WMA Mumbai, has had a legacy of over 15 years in delivering job-oriented programmes to young individuals, having already placed over 7500 students in Media and Entertainment Sector, several of whom are at senior positions in Advertising, Event Management, and PR firms in India.
Our goal at WMA Mumbai is to achieve similar success, and ensure that students get a combination of classroom and experiential learning, which ensures the right employability, to launch successful careers in digital marketing and e-commerce.
The internships provide students with an opportunity to gain work experience in interest in digital marketing while obtaining credits towards their diploma. For the students of Post Graduate Diploma in Digital Marketing and E-Commerce, a full-time program, the internship is organised for 2-3 months in various digital marketing agencies, media agencies, and the marketing divisions of organisations, after the end of 6 months of classroom training. No student is awarded the diploma without completing the internship.
The internships usually start around the month of October.
After the internships, students may get a pre-placement offer from the organisations they’re interning with, or they are eligible for the final placement procedure, which usually starts around the month of December.
